On Friday 9th April, ITV1 on screen presentation received an update which included a new look logo, four new idents, new break bumpers and more. The new look was launched to coincide with the launch of the ITV1 HD channel which launched a week earlier on Friday 2nd April.

As well as four new idents added to the channel, the original 10 idents received an update with the new look logo being added. The new logo ties all the idents together unlike previously when six of the 10 idents had a smaller logo.
