ITV HD
ITV HD is a high definition red button service available on Freesat HD. When a program on ITV1 is also available to watch in HD, a red button prompt appears and when the viewer presses their red button, the program is then shown in HD. When the HD program finished, the channel returns to ITV1 but viewers can press the blue button any time throughout the HD program to return to the SD program.
Below are some screen caps from programs in HD. ITV HD programs have a DOG (Digital On-screen Graphic) in the top right corner so viewers know they are watching in HD.

ITV Player
ITV Player is the online video catch up service from ITV. It allowed UK residents to watch full episodes of shows for free. In November 2009, ITV gave the catch up website a new look and to coincide with the new look website, a new TV promo aired reminding people of the service using the slogan 'Amazing telly you can't miss'.

ITV Sport is the sport producer owned by ITV Plc. ITV Sport holds the rights to various sports including Champions League and FA Cup football, Boxing and Rugby Union. ITV Sport broadcasts on ITV1 and ITV4.
